Amazon Kindle Oasis Waterproof Ebook Reader With 7.0-inch Display Launched In India

Amazon has today introduced a new and latest e-book reader that comes with waterproof design, dubbed as, “Amazon Kindle Oasis” . It comes with company’s highest-resolution ‘Paperwhite Display’ and is the first waterproof (IPX8) certified ratings device . This Kindle Oasis 2nd Generation comes in two variants with a different price category – 8GB Wi-Fi Model available at Rs. 21,999 and 32GB ROM (Wi-Fi + 3G) model available at the price tag of Rs. 28,999 . Both the models of the Kindle Oasis 2nd Gen will be available for pre-order and start shipping from November 13th.

The updated version Amazon Kindle Oasis E-Book reader sports a new design, that includes a metal body made of aluminium alloy design . It comes with 7.0-inch, 200 PPI (pixel per inch) screen display which is slighly larger than the previous model . As for the battery department, it offering 6-weeks battery life performance and supports fast charging capability that allows it to go from zero to fully-charged in less than 2-hours.

This Kindle Oasis has IPX8 certified ratings, which maens it is waterproof, that can be submerged in water up to 2 metre for up to 60 minutes . It can be connected to wireless headphones or wireless speakers via Bluetooth . Besides this, the Kindle Oasis e-book reader fits over 30 per cent more words per page and it has the fastest page turns of any Kindle.

This Amazon Kindle Oasis weight is 194 Grams which is slightly heavier from the last Gen Kindle Oasis . Besides this, the Kindle Oasis supports different formats such as Kindle Format 8 (AZW3), Kindle (AZW), TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, PRC natively; HTML, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP through conversion . This Amazon Kindle Oasis e-reader offers massive book selection, and over 30,000 free eBooks and 2 million paid eBooks.

This Kindle Oasis e-reader book has a 3.4mm display . Apart from this, the water-safe fabric covers can be purchased for Rs 2,999 and come in indigo, charcoal and sandstone colours. while the premium leather covers are available for Rs 3,999 and come in black and merlot colours options.
