Huawei Mate 9 And Mate 9 Pro Starts Rolling Out Android 8.0 Oreo With EMUI 8.0 Update

Huawei launched an Android Oreo beta program for the Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro in October this year . Now, as promised the Huawei company has finally begun receiving the Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 update to Huawei’s Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro (also the Porsche Design variant) . This Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 Update is only in China and not available outside the China . But, we expect that this update will soon release in various parts of the country in upcoming months.

This Android 8.0 Oreo EMUI 8.0 Update is available to – Mate 9 (MHA-AL00) Mate 9 Full Netcom Version (MHA-TL00), Mate 9 Pro Full Netcom version (LON-AL00), and Mate 9 Porsche Edition
. Currently, these update will not available on OTA but you can use Huawei’s HiCare app to request an update.

This new Android 8.0 Oreo update brings a several new features like as picture-in-picture (PIP) mode, battery optimization, updated design elements, Background limits, installation of apps via APK, over 60 new emojis, notification dots, Wide-gamut colour for apps, Snoozing individual notification, stronger integration of Google Assistant, Adaptive icons, Keyboard navigation, desktop UI mode, Huawei-specific AI improvements, and dynamic wallpapers, WebView enhancements and much more.
