State-owned telecom operator BSNL has partnered with domestic smartphone manufacturing company Micromax has today launched a new Bharat 1 4G VoLTE feature phone in India to take on Reliance Jio’s JioPhone . The newly launched Micromax Bharat 1 4G Feature phone announced at Rs. 2,200 and will be made available across the country from starting October 20th . This Micromax Bharat 1 4G Feature phone comes in Black color options . The Micromax Company touting that, the Micromax Bharat 1 is the “Desh ka 4G phone”.
Interestingly, the BSNL Micromax Bharat 1 4G Feature phone comes with Unlimited calling & unlimited data offer from BSNL at Rs. 97 per month . Like the Jio Phone, the Bharat 1 4G Feature Phone can be used on any operator network.
Talking about the Micromax Bharat 1 Feature phone specifications, it featuring a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a screen resolution 320 x 240 pixels . Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.1GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm 205 (MSM8905) chipset processor coupled with Adreno 304 Graphics unit . As for the memory, the Low-Budget 4G feature phone comes with 512MB RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage capacity and further can be expandable memory through microSD card slot.
This Micromax Bharat 1 4G Feature phone comes with Dual SIM support so you can also use 2G/3G SIM on second slot . On the camera department, the device sports a 2-megapixel primary rear camera on the back panel while there is a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front camera for selfies and video callings support as well.
Additionally, the device comes with alphanumeric keypad and is backed by powerful 2,000 mAH battery capacity that claims it gives a decent battery backup performance . It also supports 22-different Indian local languages and provides buyers access to 100 live TV channels.
