Chinese phone maker Xiaomi has recently launched Redmi Note 5A and Redmi 5A flagship in China . Now, the company is working on a new smartphone with the model number MET7/MEE7 has showed up on TENAA certifications website . The TENAA reveals major specifications and design of the smartphone how it looks like.
As according to the rumors report, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone has unibody metal design style and fingerprint sensor which is present on the back panel at just below the rear camera bump . The company has not reveals the chipset processor, but is expected to comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC.
Other sepcifications, the Redmi Note 5 smartphone will be featuring 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a screen resolution 2160 x 1080 pixels and will be powered by 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor . As for the memory, the device will comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage capacity and 4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage capacity . Further, it can be expandable memory up to 128GB through dedicated slot.
The Redmi Note 5 smartphone is expected to be running on Android v7.1.2 Nougat operating system which will be wrapped under MIUI 9 skin on top out of the box . It has a Hybrid Dual SIM card standby that accepts microSIM and nanoSIM along with microSD card slot . It also comes with Infrared Sensor as well.
For the potography department, the Redmi Note 5 smartphone will be equipped with 12-megapixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash while there is a 5-megapixel front facing selfie snapper as well . Based on the listing, the device is backed by 4,000 mAH battery capacity.
On the connectivity front, the Redmi Note 5 smartphone includes Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE network support . The device measures 158.5 mm x 75.45 mm x 8.05 mm and weighes be 179.5 Grams.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone comes in Gold, Rose Gold, Black, Red, Pink, Silver, Grey and Blue Colors options . In terms of availability, the Redmi Note 5 device is expected to be announced sometime in mid-November . The company is expected to send invites for the event later this month .
