Nokia 3, Nokia 5 And Nokia 6 Receives Android 8.0 Oreo Update By The End Of 2017

Recently, HMD Global’s has launched it’s much-anticipated Nokia 8 flagship in India at the price tag of Rs. 36,999, which is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system . Earlier, the HMD Global’s has confirms that all of it’s Nokia’s smartphone including Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 receives Android 8.0 Oreo update but the company does not reveals the time line of the updates . Now, the company has announced that they will rolled out Android 8.0 Oreo update to the Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 by the end of this year 2017.

This Android 8.0 Oreo update news was confirmed by HMD’s General Manager for Australia, New Zeland and Indonesia Mark Trundle has confirmed that the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 will be updated to Android Oreo by the end of the year in an interview with GadgetGaul and Nokianesia, as per NokiaMob.

Currently, Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 running on Android v7.1.1 Nougat operating system but affordable Nokia 3 is running on Android v7.0 Nougat operating system . Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 are already available in India at the price tag of Rs. 9,499, Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,999 respectively . Among these Nokia smartphones, the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 are available through offline retailer stores across the country but Nokia 6 is available exclusively through Amazon.in e-commerce website . As according to the source, the budget-centric Nokia 3 device will soon upgraded to Android 7.1.1 Nougat updates.

Google has already announced that they are working with different smartphone manufacturing company with Android 8.0 Oreo taste and soon relaeses new device or getting Android 8.0 oreo updates, they includes Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp and Sony.
