Moto X Play Smartphone Gets Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update

Lenovo’s sub-brand Motorola has announced back in June that Moto X Play smartphone will be updated to Android Nougat OS but there is no any exact date be released . Now, if some source to be believed Motorola has rolled out Android v7.1.1 Nougat operating system update is available in Brazil region . An image has been posted on Twitter which reveals that users in Brazil have started receiving the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update . However, there is no any informations about the global release.

As for your knowledge, the Moto X Play smartphone was launched back in the year 2015 in India at Rs. 18,499 which is orginally running on Android v5.1.1 Lollipop operating system . Apart from that, the Motorola company has also confirmed that Moto X Play handset will soon get to taste the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat update in India sometime back via company’s official Twitter handle.

The new Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system brings several new features like as split-screen multitasking, more customisable quick settings, better battery life, improved Google keyboard, enhanced notifications and recent applications window . Further, the new Nougat update adds new emojis that reflect gender equality and also adds support for GIF images directly from keyboard on supported apps . It has new app shortcuts that allows users to launch actions on any apps by simply long pressing the app icon.

If you one who want to update the Moto X Play smartphone with Nougat operating system then you should have a minimum 50% percent battery charge and should have a good Wi-Fi network support . you can manually check Nougat update by going to Settings > About Phone > System updates . So, if the update is available, then download and install it.

While on the front, the device sports a 5-megapixel front facing selfie camera as well.

The Moto X Play smartphone is fuelled by powerful 3,630 mAH Non-removable battery capacity .
