MediaTek MT6739 Quad-Core SoC With Dual VoLTE Support Announced

At the India Mobile Congress 2017 (IMC 2017) at an event in Delhi, MediaTek has today announced new MediaTek MT6739 Quad-Core chipset processor with Dual VoLTE support . This MediaTek MT6739 chipset processor will be primarly used on entry-level or low-budget smartphones 4G smartphones . It is the upgraded version MT6737 Processor, which are being used in hundred of latest smartphone at an affordable smartphones.

This Dual VoLTE support means you can use Dual Standby (DSDS) with either 4G+4G (L+L) or 4G+3G (L+W) . So, you can able to use two reliance Jio SIM’s together on a same device.

MediaTek MT6739 Quad-Core Specifications:

The new MediaTek MT6739 chipset processor supports 1.5 GHz ARM quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit CPUs which is coupled with 570MHz IMG PowerVR GE8100 GPU . In terms of storage options, it can support up to 3GB LPDDR3 (667MHz) RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage . Apart from that, you can also play 1080p video playback at 30fps and can also record in 1080p at 30fps.

In terms of display wise, the MediaTek MT6739 Chispet processor can support up to HD+ 1440 x 720 pixels resolution and maximum image processing is 13-megapixel camera image signal processor with Faster NR, AF, Luma/Chroma Noise Reduction along with native dual camera function.

Connectivity features on this MT6739 chipset processor are as Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 LE, GPS+Glonass, GPS+Beidou, FM Radio facility, and it can support network carriers
Cat-4 DL (up to 150 Mbps) / Cat-5 UL (up to 50 Mbps).

Apart from this MediaTek MT6739 SoC, We may see devices powered by MediaTek MT6739 and Helio P23 enabled devices by end of this year 2017.
