Airtel Partnered With Karbonn Mobiles To Launch Karbonn A40 Indian 4G VoLTE Android Smartphone At Rs. 1,399

To take on Reliance Jio 4G smartphone, Airtel telecom operator network partnered with Karbonn mobiles to launch it’s 4G VoLTE smartphone at the price of a feature phone . Now, as promised Airtel and Karbonn mobiles has launched a new budget-centric smartphone, which is called as, “Karbonn A40 Indian” and is priced at Rs. 1,399 . It comes in Red, Champagne, Blue, Coffee Brown and Black Colors.

Talking about the Karbonn A40 Indian smartphone specifications, it featuring a 4.0-inch WVGA touchscreen display with a screen resolution 800 x 480 pixels . Inside the hood, the device is powered by Quad-Core chipset processor clocked speed at 1.3GHz . The device comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage capacity and further can be expandable memory up to 32GB through microSD card slot.

It has a Dual SIM card standby with 4G VoLTE network support and is running on Android v7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box . The Karbonn A40 Indian device is fuelled by 1,400 mAH removable battery . On the camera department, the Karbonn A40 Indian handset is equipped with 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and there is a 0.3 (VGA) front facing selfie sensor to taking a good selfies as well as video calling support.

The new launch is part of Airtel’s Mera Pehla 4G Smartphone so Airtel will partner with multiple mobile manufacturers in an aim to create an ‘open ecosystem’ of affordable 4G smartphones and bring them to market for virtually the price of a feature phone.
