Amazon Plans To Launch “Ice” Smartphone In India Very Soon

Amazon, a tech-giant e-commerce shopping website across the globe . The Amazon has launched it’s first smartphone “Amazon Fire Phone” back in June 2014, and killed off in August 2015 . The Amazon Fire Phone was running on Amazon’s Fire Operating system and in this phone there is no any Google Apps ( like as Gmail, Youtube and Google Play store) . Because of low bit specifications and their price has been very high, so the Amazon Fire Phone device was not received well by the people and after 14-months, the company has shut down it’s production.

But, now, the Amazon is planning to launch “Ice” smartphone series lineup in India with decent configurations and aims to target the mid range customers . In the first phase, the Amazon is trying to launch it’s Amazon Ice Series lineup smartphone in India and Chinese market to gain their popularity . Amazon has toughly competetion among various chinese and Indian smartphone manufacturing company in their mid-range smartphones like as Intex , Swipe , iVoomi , Xiaomi , Gionee , Huawei , OPPO etc.

As per the Source, the Upcoming Amazon Ice Series smartphone comes in between 5.2-inch to 5.5-inch full HD Touchscreen display . Underneath, the device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset processor . On the Software front, the device is running on Android v7.1.1 Nougat operating system and will be featuring built-in Google AI Assistant as well.

 

Amazon has it’s own voice-command personal AI assistant “Alexa”, but we have no idea whether it’s going to be on device or not . For the photography enthusiasts, the Amazon “Ice” lineup series smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash light and is expected to comes with 5-megapixel front facing selfie shooter as well . The smartphone comes in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt onboard storage capacity and 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt onboard storage capacity . As of now, there is no any informations about external microSD card slot , but we expect that, the company has also uses a microSD card slot expansion option.

In terms of pricing segment, the Amazon “Ice” Lineup series smartphone may be priced between Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 7,000 . These price category is the best budget where everyone can afford . This upcoming Amazon “Ice” Series lineup smartphone is to be launching sometime this year.
