Last year in November, the Dynamic and customer focused mobility start-up OKWU has launched OKWU Pi smartphone in India . Now, once again the company has launched another 4G smartphone in india, which is dubbed as,“OKWU Omicron” and is launched at the price tag of Rs.10,499 . At the launch, Gorgious Chak de Girl Actress Sagarika Ghatge has present at the New Delhi event along with Anshuman Atul, chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director of OKWU and Arjun Gupta, chief operating officer (COO) and co-managing director, OKWU and launch a new range of OKWU Smartphone to target the budget-friendly mobile phone customers . The OKWU Omicron smartphone will be made available at all the leading ratilers across the country.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the OKWU Omicron smartphone featuring CNC-made metal frame and it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a screen resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels at 408 ppi pixel per inch to view bright and sharp quality viewing experience . Inside the hood, the device is powered by 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6737T quad core processor which is paired with 3 GB of RAM . In terms of storage-wise, the smartphone is packaging with 32 GB of inbuilt onboard storage capacity and further we can expandable memory up to 64GB via dedicated slot.

On the software front, this upcoming 4G Smartphone OKWU Omicron is running on popular Android v6.0.1 marshmallow operating system skin on top out of the box and is powered by powerful 3,000 mAH Lithium-Ion battery capacity which the company claims to offering 16-hours of talktime and 72-hours of standy time . Beside battety, the OKWU Omicron handset houses a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, which the company claims touting fastest Fingerprint Sensor in the Industry and can unlock your handset in 0.1 seconds.

For the photography enthusiasts, the OKWU Omicron smartphone bears a 13-megapixel primary rear camera comes with LED Flash, Phase detection autofocus and innovative dual to taking brilliant images and video recording while on the other hand, it sports a 5-megapixel front facing selfie snapper also comes with LED Flash to capture awesome selfies as well as good quality of video callings.

Apart from this, Connectivity options on this OKWU Omicrom board are as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth , GPS with A-GPS , microUSB port , FM Radio, Dual SIM Standby , 2G/3G/4G VoLTE support . The device can store up to 5-fingerprint.

OKWU smartphones will be based in Noida (HeadQuartredred) and the handset will be manufactured and assembled in Shenzhen, China and now the company is planning to estalish their own assembly unit in India ahead . It also planning to establish developing Research and Development facility in Amity University.
