HTC U11 World’s First Squeezable Smartphone Launched, Comes with 6GB RAM, SD 835 SoC & 12MP Rear Camera

After many teasers, finally Taiwanese Electronics company HTC has launched their much-anticipated flagship at an event in Taiwan, dubbed as, “HTC U11” and is the world’s first squeezablae smartphone . The major key highlight of the HTC U11 comes with Edge Sense which allows users can interact with it through a squeeze. Opening applications and the camera can be done by squeezing the U11 . Other highlights that attract HTC U11 towards them are as latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset processor, its liquid surface design and multiple AI assistants.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the HTC U11 smartphone featuring unibody design with aluminium rear & fuesed front glass and sports 5.5-inch Quad HD Super LCD display of a screen resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection . Under the hood, the device is powered by 2.45 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Quad core chipset processor . The device comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity and 6GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage capacity . The internal storage capacity can be expandable memory up to 2-tegabyte through microSD card slot to store more and more stuffs.

The HTC U11 smartphone is pacakging with 3,000 mAH battery capacity with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology supports, which the company claims to delivers up to 24.5-hours of talk-time, and up to 14-days of standby time mode and it also comes with extreme power saving mode . Apart from this the device has Dual nanoSIM card standby with 4G LTE network connectivity . The HTC U11 smartphone comes with Google Assistant and Alexa support for the United States, the Germany and United Kingdom (UK), which both work with the Edge Sense functionality.

For the photography enthusiasts, the HTC U11 smartphone is equipped with 12-megapixel primary rear camera comes with f/1.7 aperture lens, dual-LED flash, 1.4-micron pixel, ultra spread autofocus, BSI sensor, Optical image stabilization (OIS), slow-motion and 4K video recording . Other primary camera featuring adds beauty to this smartphone are as Face/smile Detection, Pro mode with manual control, 32-second long exposure, RAW format support, HDR Boost, Panorama, and Hyperlapse feature . On the front, it sports a 16-megapixel selfie-focused sensor with BSI sensor and Full HD Video recording . Other front camera featuring like as live make-up, voice selfie, auto selfie, HDR Boost and Selfie Panorama mode.

For the connectivity options, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Beidou, USB 3.1 Type-C port, NFC support, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS . Besides, the HTC U11 smartphone comes with HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, HTC Boomsound Hi-Fi Edition speakers, 3D Audio recording with 4 microphones and Hi-Res audio certified.

The HTC U11 smartphone comes in Five different colour options such as Ice white, Sapphire Blue, Amazing Silver, Solar Red and Brilliant Black . But , at the launching event at this time, only three variant will be launched . It’s dimension measurement be 153.9 x 75.9 x 7.9 mm and weighes be 169 Grams.

The HTC U11 smartphone will start rolling out in select countries from next week and will be available worldwide from June, 2017 . The smartphone will be available for pre-order in the US at USD$749 (which is roughly Rs.47,962) while in Europe it will be available for sell for EUR 749 (which is roughly USD$829 or Rs.53,121).
