The OnePlus company has skip the release on OnePlus 4 moniker, because the number 4 is considered unlucky and ominous in Chinese culture (we can say that considered as ‘Death’ or ‘Decrease’ in the culture of China).

This new upcoming OnePlus variant was first leaked by AndroidPure, and carries the model number as A5000 . As per previous series of OnePlus model , the OnePlus 3 carries with the model number A3000 and OnePlus 3T carries with the model numbers A3010 . Further , the model number A5000 can be translated as OnePlus 5.
