Nokia 6 Is Now Receiving Android V7.1.1 Nougat Update Before Global Launch

Nokia 6 is the first smartphone which has been launched in January this year by the HMD Global’s . Now , the Nokia 6 device is now receiving Android v7.1.1 Nougat operating system via an over-the-air (OTA) update before the global launch . Additionally , it also brings a new bunch of Android security patch features.

As per the reports , the Android v7.1.1 Nougat update is currently available for china country only and some other region . The update size is only 369 MB and sports a build name ’00CN_3_170′ . Further updating Android v7.1.1 Nougat update , some specific changes features includes power saving mode features , background management mode and along with dual SIM-dual standby support on 3G and 4G networks.

With the arrivals of new Android v7.1.1 Nougat also adds an update for the flagship feature like shortcut support on home screen , USB drivers for smartphone , new and updated emojis will be supported , and other pre-loaded apps have been updated . Further , Google Android Security patch for April 2017 update will fixes every bugs and improved system enhancements.

HMD Global’s has also announced the launch of Nokia 6 global launch in the spring season , including in US . It also confirms that , the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 budget smartphones launched in few parts of the world , which will be starting from next month , May. As according to Nokia 6 , the rest launches smartphones will also provide Stock version of Android well , which will be updated regularly as promised by HMD Global’s.
