Moto G4 Play Receives Android v7.0 Nougat Update In June : Report

The Moto G4 Play android smartphone was launched in the month of September 2016, but comes with Android v6.0 marshmallow operating system . Now, finally Lenovo’s sub-brand Motorola has announced that the Moto G4 Play smartphone receives Android v7.0 Nougat update in june,upcoming month . The Moto G4 Play is the last member in it’s portfolio that gets Android Nougat updates . Previously, two Motorola smartphones Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus received the Nougat update in December last year.

, which talks to US-based spokesperson of Lenovo said that,”Consumers will start to see Android Nougat on Moto G4 Play in June”. The Lenovo Spokeperson also said that it will be global rollout, so we can expect that the Nougat update will soon received around same time . Apart from this, Moto G4 Play smartphone owners will now have an ETA for the update instead of just hanging around wondering about it.

Speaking about the Moto G4 Play, the smartphone comes with 5.0-inch HD IPS touchscreen display with a screen resolution 1280 x 720 pixels . Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad core processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2 GB of RAM . Storage-wise, the device is packaging with 16 GB of inbuilt onboard storage capacity and further can be expandable memory up to 128GB via dedicated slot to store a large number of stuffs.
