Under the hood , it is powered by 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6737 64-bit Quad core processor which is coupled with Mali-T720 graphic processor and 3 GB of RAM . On the storage capacity , it comes in two varaints such as – 16 GB inbuilt storage capacity and 32 GB inbuilt storage capacity . The internal storage capacity of Gionee Steel 2 can be expandable memory up 128 GB via microSD card slot.
On the software front , the Steel 2 is running on Android v6.0 marshmallow operating system with Amigo 3.5 UI on top of it .
